Two subwarden positions have become available at Woodward Buildings!

Woodward Buildings is one of the largest and newest Imperial’s Hall of residence, providing accommodation for almost 700 students (at reduced capacity this year due to Covid). Subwardens at Woodward have the responsibility of organising the programme of social events that contribute to life within hall, providing pastoral care support to residents, and (occasionally) enforcing discipline ensuring that Woodward is a fun, happy, and safe hall for all its residents.

We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible and dedicated candidates to join our wardening team!

The subwarden role involves working closely with the team to run the hall throughout the year, organising social events and providing pastoral support to students. It requires a significant commitment of time, energy and responsibility during evenings and weekends. It is a voluntary role, but rent-free accommodation is provided within the Hall.

The post would best match a postgraduate student with at least two full years remaining, but all candidates with more than 12 months full-time student registration remaining are eligible. The position is for the 2020/21 academic year, with the option to move in from January.
